"HORA" Reghin - Romania has been established in 1951 and has
produced, until nowadays, over 3 millions bow and pinching musical instruments.
Nowadays, HORA Reghin produces, yearly, 30.000 bow instruments like: violins, violas, cellos, double basses, historical instruments and 80.000 pinching instruments like: classical guitars, western and electric guitars, mandolins, mandolas, ukulele, bouzouki, melody harps, cymbals etc. Besides these, HORA also produces wooden blowing instruments (pipe recorders, panpipes), wooden percussion instruments (xylophones), 10.000 bows and cases, music stands and others accessories. Besides series instruments (for beginners or advancers), the factory has a special workshop where there are handmade professional and master instruments for the great philharmonic orchestras and soloists. After 1996, it was introduced a big investment program. This program refers to the mechanization and output growth, improvement of the work and environment conditions, thus respecting the standards of the European community. HORA exports over 80% from its output in countries on all continents: U.S.A., Germany, Canada, France, England, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Japan, etc., being the greatest Romanian producer and exporter of musical instruments.
