GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE BODY WARMER PAD
AND ITS MARKETING IN EUROPE

WHAT IS THE BODY WARMER PAD (BWP)?

The body warmer pad is a para-pharmaceutical product.

It is used to keep warm the part of the body it is applied on. It prevents the body from getting cold during cold weather; helps the body maintain its normal temperature.

It doesn't contain active substances, nor it is supposed to interact directly with the body. In Japan, it is not classified as a pharmaceutical product; however, this classification may be different in other countries.

Nittetsu Mfg. is the leading manufacturer of the BWPs in Japan, with the "Kairo" brand being the most popular in Japan; the product is sold in drug stores, department stores and supermarkets.
Although the BWP has been marketed in Japan for a few years, we believe it is a completely new product to European customers.
